Meet our team: Sarah!

Meet an amazing music therapist, Ms. Sarah Levison, MT-BC!

Sarah was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. She graduated with honors from Florida State University, where she received her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Therapy. Sarah has loved singing since she was a toddler and enjoys sharing her passion for music with children. Throughout her high school years she was a member of the Sarasota Youth Opera, performing in both youth and main stage operas. Sarah completed her music therapy internship at Easterseals Midwest where she worked primarily with children with ASD. Over the past few summers, she has enjoyed working at Dream Oaks Camp for children with special needs. Sarah is thrilled to be a member of the Music Therapy St. Pete team!

What instruments do you play?

I have been singing since I can remember and started taking voice lessons when I was 10 years old. I also play guitar, ukulele, and piano!

What is your favorite music?

I love all different genres of music but I listen to pop music the most and I am a big Jonas Brothers fan!

Tell us a little about your interests and hobbies.

I enjoy any chance I get to sing and play guitar. I also like to read, watch movies, and do arts & crafts projects.

Do you have a favorite place to think?

I love brainstorming when my friends and I do work on zoom together. I also like to think in the car when I listen to music.

Where do you want to travel?

I have been to 42 states so my goal is to make it to all 50! I would also love to travel to as many countries as possible.

1.     Sit in the audience for a live filming of a show

2.     Learn to drive stick shift

3.     Travel with friends to other countries
